Happy 1st Birthday, Oscar! I was so excited to be asked to photograph Oscar's first birthday session. I have been lucky enough to watch Oscar grow over the past year and photograph some very special milestones for him and his family.

What a fun way to celebrate with a deliciously messy cake smash photo session! Oscar looked so cute in his cake smash outfit made by the very talented RaRa's Handmade Zings (I love her work, check her out!)
We managed to get a few 'clean' photos and even got mum in some before the messy fun began! Aren't they just the sweetest <3 (shhh the big giggles may have been caused by some well aimed dribble from the little dude)
Oscar was straight into the icing once the cake came out, he wasted no time digging right in! Thanks to Superwoman Kristy from Butterfly Kisses in North Lakes for making sure we had our amazing cake to smash just days before her own newborn bub arrived, it was perfect (as always!).
There is no doubt that Oscar had a load of fun as his first birthday cake smash session and even more fun in his bubble bath after. He loved splashing about and smiling for his photos. He was such a happy birthday boy!
I can't wait to continue photographing these special times for Oscar and his family as he grows.
