I love capturing this time for families all over North Brisbane. Newborns features are so beautiful and unique but at the same time they are so fleeting. With my own children I felt like each time I blinked they changed and before my eyes they became little people who were walking, talking and becoming more independent every day.

As much as I loved my babies growing up and I absolutely love watching them grow I never want to forget those very first days. I am so grateful to the newborn photographer who took my children's beautiful newborn photos. There is something so magical about looking back at them and remembering the exact moments that changed our lives. These are moments that we can never get back.

I encourage all new parents to make the time for a newborn photography session, whether it is your first child, your last child, or any in between. Each child is unique. Each child is different. Each child will grow right before your eyes and change every time you blink! I know it is only a matter of blinks before I drop my biggest little at school for the first time, and only a matter of blinks after that before she is finished and going out into the world. But no matter how quickly this time passes I know I never want to miss a moment, I want to document every little details of my children's lives. Of our lives as a family. Including myself and their father existing in the photographs (that is for another post) I want to have tangible memories that will never fade, that will be displayed proudly on my walls and in albums to snuggle up on the couch and flick through together. Giggling at the bad hair cuts (which were totally in fashion at the time!), the fun games and the memories that come together to tell the story of our lives.... and they all started with the very first photographs of my beautiful newborn babies!
